Michael Katz-Flynn
Michael Katz-Flynn is a passionate storyteller and recent honors graduate of Quinnipiac University, where he earned a dual major in Film, TV, and Media Arts, and Applied Business, finishing with a 3.52 GPA. From a young age, Michael was captivated by storytelling-creating videos with his Thomas trains and crafting fan stories inspired by his favorite video games. He even got involved with theater in High School where he found a new love for acting.
As he grew, Michael’s fascination with cinema deepened, leading him to study film independently during his free time. After transferring to Quinnipiac his sophomore year, eager to immerse himself in the creative community, he joined Q30 Television, the school’s student-run TV station, where he became a key member of the entertainment department. Michael performed as a cast member on their SNL-style comedy show Quinnipiac Tonight and contributed to #THAT, a pop culture news show. Rising through the ranks from general member to associate producer, and finally to executive producer, Michael brought fresh ideas and creativity to the show, overseeing graphics and production.
In addition to Q30, Michael was active in the Quinnipiac Film Society, participating in four productions and attending the Sundance Film Festival twice. He also acted in fourth wall’s Alice and Wonderland, attended the Cannes Film Festival, worked as a PA on several senior capstone films, and served as Assistant Director on his own short film, Conform to the Doll.
With a wealth of hands-on experience and a drive to tell compelling stories, Michael is ready to break into the industry and embrace wherever his creative journey leads. Take a look through this site to see some of Michael’s highlighted work and get in touch.
